Capuano to the Dodgers

Chris Capuano signed with the Dodgers for a ten million dollar 2 year deal. Cappy was a fairly solid starter for the Mets last year. His numbers were never amazing but he was consistent and often great in the earlier parts of games (he tended to to be not so great after the 5th). In 33 starts he posted a 4.55 ERA and 82 ERA +. His other pertinent stats were:

WHIP
h/9
bb/9
k/9
FIP
IP
1.34
9.6
2.56
8.13
4.04
186

He had a good strikeout rate and burned a lot of innings. He have up a good amount of hits though, most of which came later in games, when he tended to implode. According to metsblog he posted an 8.61 ERA in the 6th inning and a 12.15 ERA in the seventh inning.

I am kind of torn about this decision. While Cappy wasn't the best I struggle with who the Mets are going to get to fill that spot.  Nothing indicates they are in the SP market right now and I don't think we have any show ready prospects who can put up Cappys numbers, anemic as they may be. He had a 1.6 WAR in 2011 which is far from elite but also not easy to replace.
